Are you shooting with SLOG and HDR profiles or REC709?
I’m not going to get into what’s best (or not) as there are so many personal positions.
However with HDR screens becoming the option I would assume it won’t be long before all our monitors become HDR capable and I’ve certainly noticed many more titles on Netflix where HDR pops up on the screen when I play them. And yep they certainly “pop” more off the screen.
Anyway I wanted to learn a little more about the differences between all the standards. Yep I know its a little light reading so I trawled the interweb and found a really great piece written by Peter Morronne and have popped it here for you to read.
